TERRORIST THREATS: Even if reports of credible terrorist threats against the United States appear to be at "their lowest level" since September 11, 2001, this is no time to relax.
You will recall that in the summer of 2001, just prior to the New York and Washington attacks, the strongest terrorist warnings against the United States were not domestic in nature, but rather warnings about potential attacks overseas.
It would be foolish to think that we are in any less danger of a major terrorist attack in this country simply because of a drop - possibly temporarily - in "credible" domestic terrorist threat reports.
