The man who denies the Holocaust ever occurred, the President of Iran, is clearly starting to worry about the damage that the IDF is doing to his proxy fighter, Hezbollah. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has vowed to wipe Israel off the map, is now calling for a cease-fire. This clearly shows that Israel is hitting Hezbollah where it hurts, and Ahmadinejad and his ayatollah bosses in Tehran are starting to get concerned.

Did Ahmadinejad really expect Condoleeza Rice to come to the region and call for an immediate cease-fire, cutting Israel off at a most crucial moment in its offensive against the organization that started this war, while rockets are raining down on Israeli cities? There wasn't a shred of a chance that was going to happen.

Ahmadinejad also disengeniously claimed that Iran supports Hezbollah only politically and morally. Really? And how did Hezbollah learn to fire that unmanned, guided drone at the Israeli warship a couple of weeks ago? Or perhaps Iranian military personnel on-site themselves pulled the trigger?

Ahmadinejad's beloved Hezbollah is being weakened more and more with each passing day, and it is satisfying to see him begin to break a serious sweat over it.

Yoni agrees:

"It is clear that even the measured response by Israel has taken all the terrorist by surprise. The only reason that Ahmadinejad wants a cease fire is that he is afraid for the future of Hizballah."
