Republicans in Congress show they have learned - regardless of talk - virtually nothing from the defeat of ten days ago, electing the same old leaders that helped sink the ship on Nov. 7th.
Virtually no consultation or discussion was conducted with the base, further irritating and demoralizing the foot soldiers of an already dispirited Republican party.
Nancy Pelosi may have had her first major error before even taking the reigns of Speaker-power yesterday, but this misstep by congressional Republicans far outdoes that, and the Republicans don't even have the excuse of inexperience to put forth for this sad error in judgement. They should have known better.
