If he's agitated by a little grilling from Laura Ingraham about his apparently rather enthusiastic pro-choice views, which he's clearly trying to minimize, then Mr. Giuliani is likely to be even more stressed up ahead as Republican primary voters - overwhelmingly pro-life - begin to more thoroughly apply scrutiny to his views on the matter. The Planned Parenthood story was devastating, and Giuliani has yet to come up with an effective explanation for it, as far as conservatives are concerned. The mayor is clearly blowing it on this issue, and his strengths in the national security arena may not inoculate him from further damage if he continues to address his Roe v. Wade views as ineptly as he has done thus far.
