Eason Jordan Cover-Up In The Making

A cover-up of the Eason Jordan affair is in the making. The videotape of the session in which Jordan accused the U.S. military of killing journalists might not be released. Hugh asked earlier if CNN might have gotten to Davos' Adams?

Captain Ed is asking for a congressional investigation and has written a letter to both of his senators and his congressman.

The Washington Post's Howard Kurtz had an online chat earlier. He never mentioned Eason Jordan...not once. Vodkapundit takes issue with that:

You're a coward, Howard. Your silence, your outright stonewalling in failing to even mention a developing story about one of your bosses isn't just deafening, it's damning.

We'll all remember this the next time you run a story about conflicts of interest in "journalism." We'll all remember you covering for your boss. Shame on you. You wouldn't take this from another reporter--and certainly not from any politician--in the same position.

A cover-up will not work. It cannot work. It will just cause us to work a thousand times harder to find out who was in on the cover-up, who ordered it and why.
