Kerry Won't Join Electoral Certification Protest

John Kerry does not think enough of the effort by some Democrats, who are trying to disrupt the electoral certification of George W. Bush as the winner of the presidency, to lend them his support.

Barbara Boxer is waffling on the matter. She says that she may either join the effort or do something just short of causing an actual delay in the certification of electors. Even the normally clueless Boxer probably understands damage this would do to the Democrats, and she is most likely getting a lot of pressure not to do anything from Harry Reid, who reportedly is not at all pleased with the whole thing. Reid will not even meet with Jesse Jackson, a prime instigator of the whole affair.
