Rossi Calls For A Revote In Washington
Dino Rossi and the Republicans in Washington state are not backing down. Rossi tonight has called for a revote in the governor's race.
Good for him!
If the Democrats and Gregoire refuse they will create the impression that they fear a certain loss and reinforce the impression that they have stolen the governor's race. The Democrats can only lose in the court of public opinion, regardless of how they attempt to spin it, if they refuse a revote.
Here is Rossi's letter to Gregoire.

An excellent letter by Mr. Rossi. There are so many questions regarding the legitimacy of many votes that there should be a process of certifying each vote.
I say, let's do it again.
Now Democrats might complain about the cost of such a re-election. I would counter with this: after multiple rejections by Washington state voters for tearing down the Kingdome and building Seahawks Stadium, Governor Locke shoved it through the legislature.
Now the Sonics want a $240 renovation of the Key Arena (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002133687_danny29.html). And who will pay for this? If the voters reject it, I'd be willing to bet that Gregoire would push it through the legislature.
So what is the bigger bill? Renovating the Key Arena that would happen under Gregoire or having another election with certified ballots which Mr. Rossi would likely win.
Rossi is the first candidate that has admitted that there simply isn't enough to pay for all desirable programs.
Such admission takes a certain level of integrity, and is exceedingly rare. I believe Mr. Rossi would listen to the voters and not burden us with such tax bills.

Good for Mr. Rossi!!! Go on the offensive!!! Let's see the corrupt Democratic voter fraud machine defend itself now!!! At worst, the Dems will lose substantially more credibility. At best, the R's win another governorship.
